| This dog was found Sunday night (8/7) in the Green Acres subdivision of the Boger City area of Lincolnton, NC. No collar, female, and looks to be well groomed/taken care of. She has been taken to Lincoln County Animal Services. I have scoured lost and found boards on Craigslist and FB to find the owner, but have not found any "lost dog" postings to match her description. | I left my chihuahua, Cleo (cleopatra) at my friend's house so we could go to Ohio for my niece's graduation party. We live in the Greens at Birkdale and my friend is in Waterford at the Rocky River (near 73 and Poplar Tent.). My pup went missing from my friend's fenced in backyard around 2pm on Thursday and was last spotted in the neighborhood at 11pm Thursday night. I drove back from Ohio Friday to try to find her but have had no luck. She is almost 7 years old, about 10 pounds, tan colored, shy but sweet. She is my baby and I am heartbroken. She has a collar on, no tag (it broke off). She is microchipped with a chip from 24 Petwatch. We have put her on facebook pages, contacted shelters, reported her missing to 24 Petwatch, put her on the next door app, posted pictures in neighborhoods and a shopping center in that area, etc. Our boxer mix, Max, was there too and she has stayed at their house numerous times over the years so we have no clue why she left the yard. She has never been the type to wonder. Max is being put in the yard periodically, along with her blanket, to help her smell her way back. If you happen to see her, please contact me at 704-682-2175. They fed and kept him for a few days and then he escaped again trying to find his way home to Duncan SC (Spartanburg County). He has no collar since he escaped.
